"SUSPENSION BRIDGE CUFF BRACELET"
(French, ca. 1938)
An architectural cuff centering a band of 9 square step-cut sapphires bisected by 2 rows of full-cut diamonds set atop truncated pyraminds, all in 18k gold and platinum. French assay marks for platinum and 18k gold, as well as a maker's mark for Boucheron. For a design drawing see Gilles Neret (Rizolli, 1988), Boucheron: Four Generations of a World-renowned Jeweler, page 134.
